Doft (Do Freight Transportation) has integrated with CarrierCheckup, a monitoring technology for motor carrier information and vetting.
The integration is designed to help Doft users minimize the risks of hiring an unqualified motor carrier. CarrierCheckup's data, including safety ratings, insurance and authority information, is pulled into Doft and displayed for each carrier throughout the process of booking a load.
During the booking process, Doft automatically checks and verifies the carrier's certificate of insurance using CarrierCheckup's database to ensure that coverage meets the requirements the shipper has set. At the final stage, while booking a carrier to a load, Doft also updates the data in real time to confirm that the carrier is still acceptable.
"The integration with CarrierCheckup helps Doft protect its shippers from using unqualified, non-compliant, or unsafe carriers, and avoid the liability associated with negligent hiring of carriers," said Douglas Clark, a CarrierCheckup shareholder. "CarrierCheckup now provides the assurance that you have vetted the carrier properly before dispatching the load to the driver."
"Integration with CarrierCheckup has given our shippers outstanding transparency into a carrier's hiring-risk level. It has also made our qualification and vetting process more efficient when onboarding new motor carriers and monitoring existing ones," added Dmitri Fedorchenko of Doft.
